About Us
Who are we ?
We are a group of very close friends, who consider each other family, and pretty much run everything here at Popmanteau.
Our mutual interest in things happening around the world in sectors such as entertainment, media and news have helped us support our living through passive income with the articles we are approahed to write by big media corps. This has given us a push to create a platform of/on our own to spread the news and present our views on topics that is the subject of interest for more than half of world’s population.
How did the name originate?
The name popmanteau came about being a portmanteau itself. We took the ‘manteau’ out of ‘portmanteau’ and added the word ‘pop’ to create a unique portmanteau of our own. (We felt smart then, but now it just seems childish lol)
Why Popmanteau?
As writers, we love to convey information. We love writing about whatever it is that’s going on in the world. And we love presenting our thoughts on the events happening around the world. Hopefully in the future we’ll open rooms for people who wants to write for us, and write with us. People who share the same mindset as us when it comes to gaining information and providing it to the world in any means possible.
As for the readers, Popmanteau promises to deliver the latest news at the earliest not from us, but at the earliest possible for you. Here at Popmanteau, we strongly beleive that reaching to the viewers fast and first is all that matters when it comes to conveying reliable information.
And we also emphasize on the fact that we DO NOT SUPPORT CLICKBAIT . We’re not looking to go viral overnight or so. We just want to help the cause and be a part of the noise by feeding people with information that they seek.
